Role: The Social Media Manager will work directly with the Senior Media Strategist to execute paid social media campaigns, provide data, insights and analysis for Renegade s media and communications clients. The role will report directly to the Senior Strategist and VP of Media Strategy and will be tasked with using internal resources and tools to perform platform research, competitive landscape analysis, social listening reporting and other social intelligence data work. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of paid social media experience, a keen attention to detail and a love of social media. Responsibilities (How does it impact the company or customer): Work with the Senior Strategist to execute social media campaigns across various industry verticals and specializations Stay up to date on platform knowledge and tactical updates including but not limited to: Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit Maintain a deep understanding of implementation techniques within social platforms Have a deep knowledge of platform best practices, KPI s, benchmarks and optimization techniques to fuel results Collaborate with the Senior Strategist to pinpoint opportunities for optimization within active media campaigns to boost performance Data analysis and post-campaign reporting to ensure campaign effectiveness and client ROI Provide social media industry thought leadership for internal and external clients and assist in departmental and cross departmental training initiatives Aid in the development of market research and social listening intel to inform client pitches and proposal initiatives using various internal resources Aid in the development of campaign strategies and proposal/new businesses pitches Media software/vendor capabilities research to ensure the team stays ahead of the latest developments in the digital landscape Requirements 3-5 years' experience planning and executing paid social media campaigns Specialization in executing Facebook, Instagram and Twitter preferred 3 years minimum experience required Analytical and strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Highly organized with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong excel experience with the ability to manipulate multiple data sets Experience with third-party tracking and reporting tools a plus Strong understanding of digital media, marketing, and web metrics Experience in a media or agency setting a plus, but not required
