Job Description As a valued leader on our team, you will play a key role in developing and standardizing our approach to new Value Proposition development across the enterprise including processes, tools, templates, and best practices. Using qualitative and quantitative research findings, you will evaluate and identify the top value driver of new and proposed products/services for the target market (ie: mortgage lenders, partner organizations, investors, consumers, etc.) to inform the product s features, positioning, and messaging and distill complex concepts and information into powerful, intuitive value propositions. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE Responsibilities The Senior Manager Marketing Strategy, Value Proposition Development role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities * Lead value proposition development process in support of new innovation including positioning and go to market strategies for new products. * Monitor brand and in-market messaging for key industry players. * Enable research and identification of changes in the marketing environment or competitive strategies and evaluate, adjust, or redraft the organization's marketing plan and philosophy. * Partner with business units and the Marketing & Communications organization to build product marketing strategies that support our brand, integrate with other product offerings to provide a positive customer experience, and align with business priorities. * Assign trainings, webinars, and lectures to the team to stay informed of changes in the marketing environment and coordinate market research projects. * Represent Marketing Strategy team as an SME or resource for cross-functional projects or teams. * Manage the creation and conveying of brand messaging and improving brand awareness. * Plan and manage the team's budget including approving expenditures and budget transfers. * Manage and cultivate a high performing team of marketing specialists. Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experiences * 6 years of marketing experience, including experience as a people manager. * Deep knowledge of Brand Management fundamentals including naming, positioning and leading or developing differentiated value propositions * Depth of experience in Product Marketing, demonstrating an ability to think strategically and tactically to create and execute compelling campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness. * Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. * Expert in market research methodologies especially quantitative research methods that support Marketing & Communications efforts. * Proven track record of building high performing teams and cultivating talent. Desired Experiences * MBA and 10 plus years of experience preferred. * Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict. * Strong Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc. * Experience developing and recommending strategic options, and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives. * Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal. * Comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys projects that evaluate new ideas in an experimental environment, and the challenge of solving complex problems.
