Primarily serve as an action officer liaising with acquisition program offices analyzing the development, adjudication, and implementation of acquisition and intellectual property policy and guidance. Work closely with acquisition programs to analyze implementation and tracking and provide feedback regarding relevant acquisition guidance and policy. Provide input to and enable the coordination of department-level acquisition and IP policy. Support the development of the acquisition workforce with regards to innovative approaches and strategies for addressing IP considerations. Provide advisory services to Service programs and PEOs at various points across the program life cycle. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with supporting DoD acquisition programs Experience with working in a DoD acquisition program, PEO, or Service- or OSD-level acquisition office Experience with full life cycle contracting and major IT or software acquisitions Knowledge of DoD contracting regulations, including DFARS, FAR, and PGI Knowledge of intellectual property and data rights challenges and considerations during the acquisition life cycle Secret clearance BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: Experience with multiple contracting types or approaches, including OTA, BPA, or IDIQ Experience with the implementation of DoD acquisition policies and processes Experience with the development and adjudication of programmatic acquisition documentation including acquisition strategy, acquisition program baseline, and acquisition decision memorandums Experience as an OSD staff action officer, including developing, coordinating, and publishing issuances and department-level policies, managing legislative affairs, and facilitating OSD correspondence and task management Experience in facilitating Senior Level meetings in-person and in a virtual environment Experience with acquisition workforce development initiatives Ability to engage with key stakeholders on course and curriculum development JD or MSL degree CFCM, CPCM, FAC-C or DAWIA Level II Certification or course equivalents preferred
