Financial Operations Officer/entry-levelMajor Duties and Responsibilities: Oversight and organization of the following job duties: With US government oversight, coordinate the GPOI fiscal year funding proposal review and budget allocation processes In coordination with the GPOI Regional Coordinators, maintain consolidated regional and global financial trackers Provide input for Congressional Notifications and allotment memoranda Draft and circulate intra-Department and interagency financial agreements Monitor and provide reports on program obligation and expenditures Reconcile financial reports from the Department of State's Office of Acquisition Management (AQM), Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Combatant Command or vendors Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly reports to Congress on program obligations and expenditures Respond to financial inquiries from Congress and other US government offices Develop GPOI financial briefs for program planning conferences, as well as other security assistance/cooperation and related conferences Compile and present weekly (and as required) the GPOI Financial Issues Report, including reporting on open financial issues, funds available for obligation, unfinanced requirements, and languishing program funds Serve as backup to the APRRP Financial Operations Officer/Data Manager Conduct other program-related support activities, as directed Interest in Peacekeeping and international affairs a plusHighly organized and energetic, Bachelor's or Master's in International affairs or related field preferred.
