MITRE is seeking a Counterterrorism (CT) Strategist with strategic planning experience, an understating of the Intelligence Community's (IC) capabilities, and familiarity with national-level CT strategies. The position involves extensive collaboration across the US government and requires experience working with multiple Agencies, Departments, and external partners to develop and implement CT mission execution. Responsibilities include: * Facilitate efforts to develop USG counterterrorism strategic plans and objectives * Develop, draft, and deliver integrated whole-of-government strategies, plans, and option papers that support policymakers, interagency partners, and USG unity of effort * Provide analytic and technical inputs to regional/functional strategies and implementation plans to unify USG efforts to address whole of government approaches with measurable impact on CT mission success * Develop CT issue studies (senior leader seminars, workshops, exercises, white papers) to support strategic actions subordinate to whole of government strategies and implementation plans * Identify trends in USG progress toward achieving desired end-states * Create reports that provide an overview and description of the key CT mission priorities, initiatives and challenges for the IC * Manage analytic content to assess IC CT analytic production and to aid the IC in aligning production with national priorities * Assess IC CT mission performance and provide resource recommendations Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of related experience * Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Required * Knowledge of current terrorism threat environment, policy, and strategy.
