Come check out Kalani Consulting!In this role, you will serve as the Business Analyst/Product Owner and serve as the voice ofthe customer and proactively represent stakeholders.Through the creation, prioritization, management and execution of the product backlog, the Product Owner collaborates cross-functionally and focuses the development team on a clear vision of the product, its goals and delivery. The Product Owner has deep customer knowledge, an excellent ability to transform strategic intent into fully elaborated requirements in the form of user stories, feature specifications and acceptance criteria. The Product Owner drives and articulates product value delivery through the agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily scrum, demo and retrospectives seeking improvement through every Sprint.Join us and experience The Aloha Spirit!Responsibilities:Owns, manages, develops, and prioritizes product backlog of user stories in JIRA. Clearly communicates the requirements to the team and works with individual team members as needed to explain requirements.This position proactively supports stakeholders throughout the organization to provide solutions to their system application needs, performs business analysis, requirements development, process documentation, business solution needs, and reporting.Facilitates the negotiation of requirements amongst stakeholders.Helps stakeholders envision how their processes will change with the implementation of the solution.Establishes user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories into the baseline. Defines sprints and stories content, accepts sprint goals. Drives sprint goals and sprint delivery and acts as the sole owner for acceptance of sprint delivered development.Assist development teams in researching, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues, documenting solutions, and managing bug fix release cycles.Able to interact with technical staff and work collaboratively to define technical solutions to solve business needs.Ensure both quality and functional goals are met with each sprint by accepting user stories once all acceptance criteria are met.Work with QA and analyze data and test results to ensure integrity is maintained throughout the program lifecycle and ensure requirements are satisfied.Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously with strong time management skills.Facilitate client-facing meetings to understand requirements andhelp prioritize organizational strategies and plans.Coordinate and lead project team meetings with technical staff and other key stakeholders.Prepare project status reports and presentations bycollecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.Qualifications:RequiredBachelor's Degree with experience in a related Information Technology fieldExperience in gathering requirementsExperience writing user stories including acceptance criteriaExperience writing technical documentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter expertsAbleto take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility fortasksAbleto multi-task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and clientdeadlines Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processesContributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization's Agile process life cycleExperience with Agile methods and toolsExperiencewith User Interface designs and mockupsPreviousexperience working with Government clients is highly desirableMust have experience in conducting daily stand-up meetings, planning and review sessions, prioritize tasks and mitigate roadblocksStrong prioritization skills and ability to gather information quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environmentWorking knowledge of the Atlassian Suite, including JIRA and ConfluenceStrong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs in order to be a successful advocate for the customerExcellent interpersonal skills, relationship-building skills, coordination and people skills to promote the improvement of relationships between team members and the overall organizationExperience leading multiple, related projects and their resources to achieve strategic business goalsExperience in briefing and providing reports and communicationsto senior managementPreferredFamiliarity with State Department, IRM, and the Managing State Projects (MSP) project lifecycleCertified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) strongly preferredIT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certificationProject Management Institute (PMI) PMP and/or PgMP certificationBusiness process engineering experienceStrong Technical knowledge of APIs and cloud-based solutionsOrganized, controlled, engaged, polished meeting managementAbility to be decisiveRequired Clearance:Must be US Citizen and have at least an active US government Secret-level security clearanceKCI is an equal employment opportunity employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
