As a Front End Developer on this team you will work in a fast-paced, small business environment maintaining and updated the frontend applications for our client's Big Data Platform (BDP) tools. There are a number of programs/projects you could support which would be disclosed in the interview process as the team deems where your skillset is best fit. On a day to day basis you will: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of front end applications CSS / HTML/ Javascript coding for front end UI features and effects Troubleshooting customer reported issues in applications and providing support Engage in quality assurance testing with an emphasis on troubleshooting cross browser client issues Required Skills/Experience: US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance BS Degree in Computer Science or related field. Educational requirements may be adjusted for applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience. At least 5 years of experience with Javascript / HTML / CSS / along with jQuery / AngularJS or other frameworks Familiarity with Git and Jira or other version control and issue tracking software Comfortable working on a Linux command line Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues/ tickets accordingly Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed This team is currently working 100% remotely due to COVID19. In the future, when returning to the workplace is deemed safe, this team is planning to transition to a hybrid schedule of onsite work 2-3 days/week. The interview process for this role includes a coding challenge. Please be prepared to complete an online coding challenge in addition to a video-enabled interview.
