cBEYONData is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Developer to join a team supporting the translation of government financial business and functional requirements into Business Intelligence (BI) applications, reports, dashboards and visualizations. This position requires work to be performed on site, in Washington, DC. Responsibilities: Research and evaluate technical solutions and recommend the best course for given requirements Design, develop, test, and implement WebFOCUS reporting for both new and existing applications, reports and visualizations Support maintenance of existing WebFOCUS applications, reports and visualizations Create and maintain technical documentation on SharePoint Corroborate closely with technical database, business, and quality assurance teams Position Requirements: At least 4 years of hands on experience developing or administrating reporting applications using one or more BI platforms (eg WebFOCUS, Tableau, Cognos, BusinessObjects, MicroStrategy, etc.) Strong, demonstrable knowledge of BI industry standards and best practices Experience with relational databases, including an ability to interpret SQL Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug BI technical issues General knowledge of federal financial systems and their components (eg Accounting, Procurement, Budget, Travel, etc.) Ability to rapidly learn new concepts and business systems Analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail Active Top Secret security clearance Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in information technology or finance-related, an additional 4 years of experience may substitute in lieu of Bachelor's degree. cBEYONData is a Federal Contractor and an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Females/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
