Job Description Peraton is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented, Network Engineer to provide development and engineering services across multiple enterprise networks. * Design and plan enterprise network systems, with specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture, and conduct testing of network design. * Conduct cost/benefit analysis and provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. * Responsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options. * Advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations. * Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. * Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network and plan the implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network. Required Qualifications * Possess a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience; or equivalent work experience, including related training or certifications. * Have experience supporting multiple security level domain network environments in a Cisco * Requires current TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance * SCI used within the last 2 years * Polygraph within the last 5 years Desired Qualifications * Possess one or more Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCDA; CCNP/CCDP; CCIE/CCDE) * Possess an understanding of DEVOPS principles Peraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
