Job Description Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Job Description: Are you ready to put your Cyber Security & Software Development skills to work on complex projects in support of an exciting space-focused mission? Parsons is now hiring a lead Cyber Security Technologist with Software Development skills that has the desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions in support of cyber and space related projects. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of cyber security professionals and automation efforts to guide the protection of key government systems while decreasing technical debt and additional resources normally needed for manual processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Works with the program manager to lead a small team that maintains the project's cybersecurity responsibilities including contributing to efficient resource planning, improving department standards and processes, and researching cyber security solutions to support program objectives; * Interfaces with customers, managers, and other leads to gather requirements, recommend solutions, provide status, and manage issues/requests; * Assists in planning and implementation of AWS cloud migrations; * Develops and implements information security procedures, system security plans, and POA&Ms for the operation of networked and standalone classified computers systems, as well as coordinating government agency approvals/accreditations; * Reviews and contributes to Authority to Operate (ATO) packages; * Consults on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified and CUI computing systems; * Identifies security vulnerabilities and needed security protection measures; * Designs, develops, and implements leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment for customer organizations; * Implements security measures including intrusion detection and prevention, software, and system security protection through application of secure design protocols and reverse engineering, and data assurance. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Active top-secret clearance with SCI eligibility. * BS Degree and 8+ years of experience as a technical lead in DoD or Intelligence Community engineering programs; * 4+ years of experience in requirements development, requirements analysis, and requirements testing; * 2+ years software development experience; * Experience with software development repositories and development tools (ie Github, JIRA, Confluence); * Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) methods; Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
