Gridiron is seeking a Pega Developer for a Federal Program in Washington, DC. In this role, you will: - Work with senior members of the team and users to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Pega 8 platform.- Implement Pega solutions that adhere to platform best practices. - Assist the Lead Pega Developer with development work streams, from design through testing and deployment- Be responsible for coding and unit testing using Pega OOTB features based on the design provided by the Lead Pega Developer- Maintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks.- Post-delivery - assists client teams in supporting the live application and perform handoff and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success. Your job responsibilities will include: - Certified System Architect (CSA) - Hands on Design/Development experience in Pega Case Management required - Pega competency in the following areas: Pega organizational routing process Integration (ex. Soap) and their error handing Custom CSS and UI components Reporting (ex. Report Definition) Data structure and concept of Data Pages Declaratives, Decision and Validation Activities and Flows In order to be considered for this role, you must have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience with case management system development - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. If Associates Degree, must have a minimum of 6 years work experience. - 6+ months of hands on Pega Development experience We also prefer you have: - Possess one of the following certifications: CSA (Certified System Architect), CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect)- Pega 8 experience- Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience- Specialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertise Professional Skill Requirements- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment - Desire to work in an information systems environment- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
