Our veteran team of designers, consultants, artists, and managers are dedicated to developing training, enterprise infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions that exceed client expectations.CTEC is currently looking for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO)Duties and Responsibilities:An Information System Security Officer (ISSO) includes skill requirements from a security office for all information technology issues such as malicious code eradication, configuration management, assessment and authorization of current and future systems. ISSOs shall know how to implement common information system security practices, policies, and technologies. Additionally, ISSOs demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, sound judgement, effective interpersonal skills, team building (including the ability to work in cross-functional teams), and effective communication skills. Assess the current cybersecurity process, work products, and tools in relation to mission, security goals and objectives Develop, engineer, and implement security solutions to address program gaps and improve protections within the HRM and IT staff Assess and identify risk Document security processes and status in support of security assessment and authorization (SA&A) activities Use security automated workflow tools to develop security artifacts in support of certification and authorization decisions, and continuous monitoring Develop supporting risk-based decisions and security impact analysis Familiarity with privacy requirements, processes/procedures, and required documentationWork Experience: Minimum 5 years of Experience as an ISSO, SCA, or ISSE Experience with Vulnerability, Configuration, and Asset Management tools in support of Continuous Monitoring Performing Security Authorization, and Risk Analysis and Assessment Experience with POA&M Management Experience with Privacy Assessment Security Control Assessment Security Code Analysis Document Review and Security Technical Writing Risk Assessment and Risk Management Product Evaluation Governance (including Policy, Regulatory, Legislative) and Audit Services Any of the following certifications: A+, Network+, SSCP, CCNA-Security, GSEC, Security+, CISA, CISM, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, CASP, CIPPEducation: BS in Computer Science or related fieldClearance Requirements: Active CBP Full BIThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
