Summary The Loss Prevention Senior Specialist will reduce inventory losses across Lidl''s regional operations through auditing store and warehouse processes and procedures, analyzing trends, investigating loss and fraud, and reporting to the regional leadership team. Investigations will include, but not be limited to, on-site audits, one-on-one interviews, system analysis, CCTV review, and loss prevention reporting. What You''ll Do Essential Functions Audit store and warehouse process and procedures related to inventory and loss prevention regularly including internal and external investigations Analyze inventory and loss trends for signs of possible fraud and manipulation and suggest process improvements Assist with inventory preparation, execution, and report on results and trends Advise and assist operational teams on loss prevention measures to achieve inventory goals, such as policy and procedure compliance Conduct regional inventory analysis review meetings on a monthly basis Collaborate with all relevant departments to develop solutions for loss reducing opportunities Leads investigations, internal interviews, case file building, and participates in any resulting court hearings for internal theft and fraud Travel Requirements This position commutes between stores, regional offices/distribution centers 50-75% of the time within a day What You''ll Need Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of loss prevention, inventory management, and risk management concepts Excellent planning and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying priorities High level of maturity, discretion, tact, judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality Demonstrated ability to make decisions in stressful situations Excellent conflict management skills Ability to work in a self-directed work environment Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills Thorough understanding of investigation best practices and physical security standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), particularly Excel Required Education, Certifications/Licenses, Related Experience Bachelor''s Degree in business-related field or equivalent knowledge 3-5 years experience in retail or warehouse loss prevention and investigation or equivalent knowledge What You''ll Receive At Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
