Armed Protective Security Officer DOJWASHINGTON, DCApplyDescriptionHana Industries, Inc. is recruiting for Armed Protective Security Officers (PSO) to join our team at the National Capitol Region Department of Justice Building in Washington, DC. The Protective Security Officer is responsible for following DHS security protocols and is concerned with all matters relating to the security of the stakeholders, which include:Perform Access Control Duties to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed access to the facilityPerform Screening Duties to ensure only authorized commercial vehicles and cargo are allowed access to the facilityMay execute emergency closure procedures (ECP) during emergencies to ensure all ingress and egress of personnel, property, equipment, vessels or vehicles are deniedMay provide roving guard services and Perimeter and Interior patrol that monitor facilities to ensure security breaches and criminal or suspicious activities are detected and reported in a timely mannerMay provide escort and courier services to ensure safe and timely delivery of personnel and propertyAssisting in plans and procedures to be followed in the event of any major catastrophe, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, conflagration, and hostile acts to ensure adequate security measures are maintained within the command.RequirementsIn order to be considered, candidates must meet ALL of the following requirements and examination results must be favorable as defined by the DHS contractual requirements:Active DHS Suitability Letter Minimum 2 to 5 years military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) or equivalent experience in armed security services (police, law enforcement, civilian, etc)Prior Armed Security experience a mustDrug TestingBasic medical screening of good physical healthMust be 21 and a citizen of the United StatesHigh School Diploma.There is a $200 Bonus after 90 days if hired candidate is already a 100% Fully Qualified PSO through DHS at time of hire HIND is an EEO employer: D/V/M/G
