The analyst provides operational and technical expertise for: integration/implementation of Liaison Officer (LNO) systems and architectures into the LNO data services model; configuration management of the LNO operational processes, information systems, and integration processes; and systems development, upgrading, integration, and test/evaluation of the USASMDC Liaison office, Arlington, VA. Duties*Provide operations support to the National Capital Region (NCR) Liaison Office Operational Support (OPS) *Support/Systems Configuration Management (CM):*Perform tasks from the approved NCR CM office. Record and report information needed to manage configuration items effectively, including the status of proposed changes and implementation status of approved changes*Develop procedures for the introduction of changes to the LNO documents for an assigned program ensuring that customer requirements are satisfied and the guidelines set forth in the CM plan are followed.*Provide configuration management for the LNO operational processes, information systems, and integration processes.*Provide expertise on all matters relating to CM within the LNO and its alternate locations.*Maintain a tracking system for the following: All workstations and their configurations; system servers and their configurations; internal network devices and their configurations; and LNO specific applications and their versions.*Refine and maintain local/NCR Configuration Control Board (CCB) procedures, participate in NCR CCB meetings, and provide post-meeting minutes.*Assist local, on-site procurement personnel with information systems life-cycle support, to include: System specification, system installation/upgrade planning, periodic maintenance, manufacturer warranty repair, and disposition of cycled out systems.*Assist n documentation and tracking of software baselines for all LNO operational systems supplying monthly reports on the status and progress of configuration management implementation*Provide operational and technical expertise for systems development, upgrading, integration, and test/evaluation. *Hardware, software, and network systems Joint Worldwide Intelligence Community System (JWICS), Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR), and Non-Secure Protocol router network (NIPR).*Assist in of design enterprise systems and develop, gather, and document future system requirements.*Assist in the development of systems including web applications, desktop applications, distributed applications, and service-oriented architecture implementation.*Provide integration with external systems, conduct systems test and validation, and conduct systems configuration management, as required. Skills RequirementDeep knowledge (minimum of 7 years of experience) IT system administration and configuration management Ability to develop requirements, define problems, perform analysis, and develop/recommend solutionsKnowledge of Government networks including JWICS, SIPR, and NIPRMaster's Degree (Additional experience may be substituted for the degree)TS/SCI Clearance is required
