Digital Strategist Team Lead
Description: We are seeking a curious Digital Marketer who has a mix of analytic and strategic thinking. Your job is to ask tough questions, observe the unnoticed, and create powerful insights that inspires teams to create impactful work. The right candidate is an experienced digital marketing strategist who can lead a multi-disciplinary team in setting, executing, and achieving strategic marketing objectives aimed at driving profitable growth, sustainable brand and market positioning, and enhanced B2B and B2C customer experience/loyalty. This role requires a degree of autonomy to develop and implement strategies across multiple sectors and disciplines. Experience with Sitecore, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Sprout Social preferred. Responsibilities Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct research to learn about how we do business and what engages our target audiences Synthesize findings into actionable insights and foundational brand messages. Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices across the integrated marketing spectrum Develop strategic project briefs for digital and traditional marketing tactics Manage digital channels that include email and social media Be familiar with journey maps, ecosystem maps, user personas and segments. Contribute to the development of branding and messaging strategies Work closely with the broader team to develop SEO/SEM and paid media strategies. Create and execute digital advertising strategies including but not limited to: Facebook and Twitter ads, Linkedin and display advertising methods Establish goals and KPIs and report on performance, including observations, insights and recommendations. Experience with analytics systems and tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and social media reporting tools to monitor campaign performance and identify insights and recommendations. Partner with team members to ensure project work is on schedule and on strategy. Communicate and collaborate with customers, management and with other departments (design, developers, etc.). Effectively manage marketing production and dissemination schedules and proactively communicate updates. Take a strong interest in learning more about the entire integrated marketing spectrum from traditional and digital tactics to communications and public relations. Foster collaboration and communication. Promote a fun, supportive culture where ideas are welcomed. Recognize when practices and processes are inconsistent or no longer serve the team and recommend paths forward to improve effectiveness. Top Skills Details: 1. Experience managing, executing, and tracking social, paid advertising, and email campaigns in an agency or enterprise environment 2. Sufficient account management and project management skills 3. Experience tracking and reporting on campaigns- this will include working within Marketing Cloud (experience with Marketing Cloud or Salesforce is a plus) and collaborating with outside vendor Google AdWords certification is a nice to have. This person will also be managing one other team member Additional Skills & Qualifications: Qualifications Bachelors Degree with a focus on Business, Marketing or Creative 5+ years experience working as a Digital Marketer Experience with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud, Sprout or similar social software Budget management experience Strong understanding of leveraging social platforms, and developing social campaigns and engagement Proven experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, and digital media advertising campaigns Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (eg, Google Analytics) Hands-on digital campaign management in a fast-paced environment, with strong proficiency in programmatic display and paid social (at a minimum either Facebook or LinkedIn) Excellent quantitative data analysis skills to track performance metrics and make actionable recommendations Strong understanding of storytelling, the creative process and brand development Strong Project Management experience Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and build relationships with cross-functional teams Experience owning and supervising the agency relationship and prioritizing their focus/areas of support to maximize return on retainer.
