You be will providing financial analysis used for reporting and budget forecasting. The position also includes, but not limited to, processing various financial documents, verifying and processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.**Responsibilities:**+ Provide monthly-end financial analysis and reporting to the Budget Analyst and upper management.+ Monitor various account balances and process budget realignments as determined by the Budget Analyst.+ Process obligating documents within the financial system, in accordance with proper accounting regulations and guidelines.+ Review and reconcile open and undelivered financial obligations.+ Review invoices and statements by verifying information, resolving any outstanding issues quickly and efficiently, coding transactions and processing in the financial system.+ Verifies and corrects accounting transactions in the financial system to insure completeness, accuracy of data and proper identification of account(s).+ Maintains and updates the tracking system for billing and contract values.+ Interface with the client and project personnel to generate and submit any requested financial statements and/or project reports as needed by analyzing account information.**Qualifications Basic Qualifications:**+ Minimum of a bachelors a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred; or 4 years specialized or 8 years of relevant educational experience /knowledge in Financial/Logistics training to include the development of financial diagrams, exercises and training or a combination of both totaling 8 years.+ Must be able to efficiently handle accounts payable, receivable and general accounting duties.+ Must be detail oriented and have the ability to follow policy and guidelines in handling all fiscal transactions+ Must be able to work within stringent time constraints and meet deadlines.+ Good oral and written communication skills.+ Must have an active and ability to maintain a Secret clearance.**Minimum Qualifications:**+ A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred or four (4) years of specialized or relevant educational experience/knowledge in accounts payable/receivable and/or financial training. Military service can be used as a substitute for educational requirement to include the development of financial diagrams, exercises and training or a combination of both totaling four (4) years.+ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.+ Strong attention to detail.+ Must be able to work within stringent time constraints and meet deadlines.+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.+ Must have an Active Secret clearance (and ability to maintain a clearance).+ Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.**Desired Qualifications:**+ Prior experience with government accounting/financial systems a plus.+ Law enforcement or military experience a plus.The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
