DHS Account Executive Position Description: ValidaTekis seeking aFederal Civilian Capture Managertojoin our growing, highly motivatedFederal Civilian Accountteam. The ideal candidatehas experience and knowledge of the Technology organization and processes;provides capture process leadership to capture strategic business opportunities. The Capture Manager is capable of executing all aspects of the Capture Plan and Capture/Proposal process. Fully responsible and accountable for all capture activities from identification through contract award and transition. Will focus onleading and executing capture activities, including but not limited tostrategy development, gap analysis, solution sessions, writing point papers, scheduling and meeting with customers and potential team members. Responsibilities: * Lead, facilitate, actively participate in all capture activities initialtoproposal * Conducting gap analysis, to include capabilities, qualifications, technical and competitive * Create, modify, update strategies, approachesand plansthat synthesizes information regarding the customer, competitor and the companys strengths and weaknesses * Work with proposal management in the developing winning proposals * Work with recruiting and human resources to identify, recruit and retain qualified resources * Create sound business case and value proposition based on customer requirements * Translate win strategy into capture plan to include win themes, discriminators, competitive analysis, price-to-win and customer engagement plan * Develop, updateteaming strategies, including negotiation of teaming agreementsthrough completion Desired Skills: * Experience managing and working within theFedCiv market * Experience working as a project/program/technical manager withinFedCiv a plus * Knowledge of business development and capture management process that entails the development of Management, Technical and past performance approaches, cost volume management, teaming, pricing strategies and competitive assessments * Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with diverse group of managers, industry leaders, and government key stakeholders * Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, lead, motivate and influence others to support corporate goals and objectives to produce a winning proposal within budget and schedule constraint * Ability to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance * Ability to help formulate winning technical, management, past performance, cost and orals presentations strategies Position Requirements/Qualifications: Educationand Certifications Required: * Bachelors Degree from4 yearcollege or university. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for meeting the minimum requirements. * Active Secret Clearance Preferred: * ITIL Certification * PMP or equivalent certification * Bachelors level degree from an accredited college or university in a curriculum or major field of study which either (1) provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex IT projects, (2) is closely related to the work to be automated, or (3) is in Computer Science, a physical science or a mathematics-intensive discipline. Knowledge and Experience Required: * Minimum10years or more of professional experiencein the Information Technology industry * Minimum 5years program management experience or managingIT Projects such as software development, computer operations projects. * Demonstrated ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships * Strong writing skills, specifically related to Task Order response to RFPs * Experience managing subcontractors * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Business and financial experience, with proven ability to manage scope and budget. Experience with government FFP, FFP LOE, CPF contracts Preferred: * Technical and/or functional line management experiencein Information Technologya plus * Experience leading or working on bids, proposals, and/or capture teams for government contracts and/or multiple award IDIQ task orders a plus.
