Job DescriptionENSCO ASE is recruiting senior engineering and support staff supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Research and Engineering Branch (OUSD/R&E). We are currentlyseeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) (Fully Networked Command, Control,& Comms) experienced in supporting technical, managerial, or operational fields. Mature judgement required to interface with external stakeholders and senior government personnel.Position located in the Washington DC/Virginia area.This position is contingent upon award of contract.The SME for Fully Networked C3 (FNC3) will support the PD participation in the Joint All-Domain Command& Control Cross Functional Team (JADC2 CFT) and the C3 Leadership Board. Job Duties include:Maintain modernization tech roadmaps related to space systems. Roadmaps shall include all DoD activities and applicable program elementsModernization roadmaps shall be current and updated at the direction of the respective PDCoordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders, including DoD leaders, the Services/Agencies and other key partnersRefine and update S&T roadmaps based on feedback from stakeholders and changes to technology development investments.Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoD leadership, outside agencies, Congress, Industry, Academia, Professional Societies, and others as directed by your PDTrack department-wide budgets for efforts aligning with their respective PDPrepare and conduct meetings related to your Principal Director's focus area (FNC3)Qualifications Required (Skills)Master's degree within a STEM disciplinewith 14 years of relevant experience.7 years' of recent experience in military communications systems engineering, protected RF BLOS communications, high data rate laser communications, and other relevant technologies.Experience in developing and demonstrating mission base capabilities to fill persistent gaps within the National Defense Strategy (NDS).Previous experience with Department of Defense RDT&E mission and processesPrevious experience in engineering, analysis of alternatives, integration, requirements, and testingExperience with Cross-Domain SolutionsExcellent writing, communication, and briefing skillsAN ACTIVE DODTS/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZENQualifications DesiredPhD in STEMDoD or National Capital Region work experienceExperience supporting senior government civilians and/or militaryLocated in DC Metro Area#LI-TC1Division DescriptionThe Aerospace Sciences and Engineering (ASE) Division is based in Cocoa Beach, Fla., with facilities and capabilities in Colorado Springs, Colo., El Segundo, Calif., and Orcutt, Calif.
