Extensive DAI Expertise -Preferably strong in O2CSkills/Responsibilities: Acts as recognized technical expert. Performs continual finance and accounting assessments of work units and provides expertise for reporting and analysis. Utilizes expertise in business management practices industry requirements, and information technology disciplines to develop technical and/or business solutions to client problems. May sever as the SME for Special projects outside of standard taskings. Evaluate both new and on-going business practices and/or requirements and identify areas of deficiency or inefficiency, and recommend process improvements to streamline procedures, strengthen internal management controls, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and statutory guidance. Provide documentation and data review for an accounting system reconciliation for successful deployment of enterprise resource planning (ERP) upgrades or other financial information/accounting system solution and related audit readiness initiatives. Provide recommendations to accommodate remediation plans as a result of audit or mock audit findings. The recommendations would require workflow documentation and narrative support to be reviewed and approved by the Agency Comptroller. Identify and reconcile accounting records that are in an "out of balance" condition
