SUMMARY The Manager, Channel Marketing is an integral role within the NACD Marketing Department, ensuring the overall success of the NACD member experience across the organization's channel segments. This role will oversee the channel strategy and execution of all NACD member-facing properties, including and other web properties, our social media presence, and chapter network. This role will act as a key lynchpin with our product marketing managers and will evaluate the annual product marketing strategies and ensure that the appropriate channels and content are used to target the correct marketing personas. This role will also be responsible for enhancing the delivery of content and information to different segments by utilizing data and implementing omni-channel marketing best practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate and implement annual communication strategies and marketing plans across NACD audiences. Content channels include NACD website properties, blog, social media, and the NACD chapter network. Partner with our content and research teams to develop and execute association-wide content marketing strategies. Lead the generation and successful delivery of online and social media content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action, determining the best method to create, repurpose and distribute content to different audiences. Target specific channels to promote products and services, including social media platforms, website content, and strategies; Ensure that content and messaging across channels encourage registration, increase engagement, and enhance the member experience. Develop a framework and ongoing marketing toolkit for our chapter network channel. Analyze market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor behavior to optimize channel marketing strategies. Collaborate effectively with marketing and cross-matrix teams to execute new product launches, events, and other organizational promotions. Assess and recommend enhancements to NACD web properties. Work collaboratively to provide suggestions to improve the visual layout, content, usability, and presentation. Manage one direct report and manage relationships with outside vendors, including editors, videographers, printers, and freelance designers. Performs other duties, as assigned. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration, plus five years of related marketing experience, including a minimum three years of omni-channel marketing-related experience and/or content marketing experience. Supervisory and employee development experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills; can produce effective and engaging marketing copy. Daily demonstration of marketing expertise and proactive, thoughtful strategy. Proven working knowledge of digital marketing and channel marketing best practices. Experience with content management tools. Ability to combine targeted blast, print, social media, and video strategies to reach defined audiences with strong messages and calls to action.
