Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group is seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional with prior GovCon experience! This is a fully remote, long term contract with a trusted client out of the Northern, VA area. Qualified candidates must have prior Federal HR knowledge and be comfortable working both independently to find new business as well as working collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify new leads and assist with developing and implementing strategies for revenue growth
  • Work with proposal team as well as other departments to achieve business development goals
  • Assist with writing proposals to earn contracts
  • Research and develop potential business development opportunities
  • Be a key player in maintaining business relationships

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 3+ years of GovCon business development experience
  • Must have prior Federal HR knowledge
  • Must have proven experience using Capture 2/Govwins
  • Sharepoint and MS Office proficiency
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven experience leading the full sales lifecycle
  • Experience with proposal coordination and writing preferred
  • Experience with 8a Bidding is highly preferred
