A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Privacy Analyst to join a large team of cybersecurity professionals in support of high-priority federal cybersecurity initiatives within the Cybersecurity Division encompassing cybersecurity governance, oversight, and security activities of approximately 27 agencies within DOL and 80+ FISMA reportable system boundaries. This position provides telecommuting flexibility during the pandemic, will be onsite in DC thereafter. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the security controls necessary for agency systems to be assessed and authorized to Federal standards using guidance from recognized agencies
- Provide personally identifiable information (PII) and privacy support to ensure compliance to the Privacy Act and other Federal Privacy related policies
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Education: BS in Computer Science, IT, or other Analytical/technical field
- 4+ years of experience
- Work Status: US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Public Trust clearance
- Desired certifications:
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification
