Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist you will:
• Be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, documenting and
evaluating patients on invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Assess and document patient outcomes via EMR.
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility. Perform SBAR and
participate in rounds in ICU.
• Quality control and maintenance on assigned equipment

Qualifications include:
• AAS in Respiratory Therapy required
• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (NBRC) license required
• Active Maryland State RRT license required
• Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• NPS advanced certification a plus*

Adult RRT be able to work independently, manage high-risk critical care of patients in all areas to include ICU/CCU. ACCS advanced certification is a plus*

*Per diem employees need to meet the minimum requirement 24hours/month or 36hours/6-week calendar schedule.

Work Schedule:

Per Diem scheduled as needed. 12 hour shifts
