Summary
As a Contract Auditor for the CIA, you will conduct contract audits and provide business consulting services as a key member of the CIA's acquisition team. You will directly support the acquisition community by providing value added cost analysis, audit, contract and financial advisory services in support of the negotiation, administration, and settlement of the CIA's contracts.

As a Contract Auditor for the CIA, you will conduct contract audits and provide business consulting services as a key member of the CIA's acquisition team. You will directly support the acquisition community by providing value added cost analysis, audit, contract and financial advisory services in support of the negotiation, administration, and settlement of the CIA's contracts.
Using creativity, dedication, and innovation, you will harness your passion for auditing to deliver innovative and agile financial solutions in support of the CIA's global mission. You will develop your expertise in the contract auditing process, serving as an independent auditor and ensuring that the prices CIA pays for goods and services are fair and reasonable.

Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- US citizenship required (dual national US citizens are eligible).
- All positions require relocation to the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
- All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview, and a comprehensive background investigation.
- All applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last twelve months. The issue of illegal drug use prior to twelve months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields or related studies:
- Accounting.
- Business Administration.
- Business Management.
- Finance.
- GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
- At least 24 semester credit hours of accounting coursework.
- Demonstrated excellent:
- Interpersonal skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Understand and assess complex contract audit issues.
- Analyze data and make audit recommendations.
- Work productively, with minimal supervision, either independently or in a team environment.
- Apply knowledge of accounting and auditing concepts, principles, and techniques.
- Documented good credit history.
- Knowledge or experience in the following functional disciplines:
- Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards.
- Federal Acquisition Regulation.
- Cost Accounting Standards.
- Direct experience in federal government auditing or service with the Defense Contract Audit Agency.
- Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields or related studies is required:
- Accounting.
- Business Administration.
- Business Management.
- Finance.
- GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
