Summary

You will serve as a Intelligence Specialist (Foreign Sensor Subject Matter Expert) at the GG-12 grade level responsible for participating in difficult administration, collection, analysis, evaluation, interpretation, dissemination, and/or other intelligence-related assignments for which intelligence knowledge is predominant.

Responsibilities

  • You will perform intelligence analysis and production tasks relative to sensor research, development, integration, testing, operation, and proliferation in specific foreign countries.
  • You will maintain liaison with USMC force modernization customers, other intelligence agencies, and operational forces to share, obtain, and provide information needed to support USMC customers as required in the conduct of daily duties.
  • You will serve as the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity expert for foreign sensor development and will prepare written and verbal intelligence production on assigned topics for senior level DoD and USMC officials.
  • You will plan and carry out all assignments necessary to process all-source material and produce pertinent intelligence on foreign sensors to meet U.S. government needs.
  • You will collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in foreign sensors, and prepares new or revises previous analyses, assessments or other products.
  • You will identify intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps and evaluate the intelligence collected in response to those requirements.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS Trail Period.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
  • Production of all-source intelligence assessments/products compliant with DoD, Intelligence Community, and local directives.
  • Production of all-source intelligence assessments related to foreign sensor research, development, integration, testing, operation, and proliferation using Structured Analytic Techniques, Analytic Design, and/or other analytic tools, methods and frameworks.
  • Leading internal or external working groups to address analytic needs and develop strategies for satisfying intelligence requirements.
