Sparks Group has teamed up with a mortgage lender client and is seeking a motivated and skilled Sr. Mortgage Loan Processor. The Processor will be responsible assisting customers with the loan application process and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Process residential mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional, purchase, refinance) under various programs
- Provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating / collaborating with all internal / external customers including loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, builder and agents
- Collect necessary loan documentation; make required changes to the data on the loan application if needed
- Submit complete packages to underwriting for loan approval
- Assist Processing team members; ensure all loans meet compliance requirements and are processed timely
- Comply with all policies, standards and regulations applicable to the company and the mortgage industry
- Understand and apply local, state and federal regulations related to processing mortgage loans
- Provide support for other duties as required
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of work experience
- 5+ years of mortgage industry experience
- Loan processing experience with conventional and government (FHA/VA) loans
- Prior experience working with Encompass360 is highly desired
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Knowledge of all documents and regulations for lending and loan processing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Solid written and verbal communication skills to make recommendations and provide superior customer service
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple on-going project
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred
