Job Description
The Washington Post is seeking a Summer Intern for our Site Experience Engineering team. You will be embedded on a development team building features for our Article and Homepage experiences reaching millions of readers each day! You'll work closely with a dedicated sprint team and learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
We are looking for someone who is ready for the challenges, responsibilities, and rewards that come with working in a high-performing development team. This internship could extend into a full-time opportunity for highly motivated and self-starting individuals!
Responsibilities:
• Work within our sprint teams on front-end features (React, CSS, Next.js)
• Write automated tests to ensure code quality
• Participate in code reviews to learn from one another about coding best practices and standards
• Have fun learning to build software at scale!
