Westat is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join the fast-paced corporate contracts unit. You will support the full life-cycle of contract management activities and lead a team of contracts staff.   This position is remote-eligible.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the contractual activities of a business unit.
• Lead and oversee a team of Contract Administrators and Specialists.
• Review and negotiate all types of agreements, including Teaming Agreements, Contracts, Grants and Subcontracts.
• Perform pre-award reviews of RFPs and contractual documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and solicitation requirements.
• Provide contractual and business guidance to Westat's research staff. 
• Collaborate and provide support to various internal departments including: Accounting, Legal, Finance and Marketing.
• Support the development and updates of policies and process documents. 
• Perform risk-assessments and compliance reviews in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree and 10 years of progressive experience in Federal Government contracting including 5 years in a management or leadership role. 
• Experience negotiating prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Experience reviewing and preparing proposal documents.

Preferred Qualifications:
• A Master's degree in business, law or contract related discipline. 
• Experience administering Health and Human Services contracts.
• Familiarity with GSA schedules and Best-In-Class contracting.
• Experience with Deltek products including: Costpoint, Contracts and Purchasing Modules.

You must have excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; detail-oriented and work well in a team environment.
