Adjunct Faculty, Department of Computational and Data Sciences
The George Mason University, Department of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS) in the College of Science, is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. Responsibilities: The Department of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS) at George Mason University is currently seeking adjunct faculty to teach sections of freshman and sophomore level courses.

A successful candidate should have a Masters or PhD degree in a relevant field, appropriate backgrounds in data or computational sciences, with an exemplary teaching experience at the college level, and experience in one of the following programming languages: Matlab, R, or Python.

One semester or full academic year contracts are available.

Required Qualifications: * Successful completion of a Masters degree (minimum) or a PhD degree in a relevant field; * Appropriate backgrounds in data or computational sciences, with prior teaching experience at the college level; * Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: R, Python, SQL,or MATLAB; * Availability to teach during the day time is essential.

Preferred Qualifications: * Online teaching experience is preferred and should be emphasized in the candidate's CV; * Availability to teach on Saturday (during the day time).
