Summary

The multi-disciplinary Graphic Designer will create easily digestible high quality graphics on time to build the MIOS Brand under the supervision of the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update current MIOS Brand Guidelines and ensure produced assets are consistent with said guidelines.
  • Work with MIOS companies and cross-functional teams through open communication to create multimedia images and other visual assets to support marketing efforts.
  • Depending on the team, projected use, and target audience, use various Adobe CS and Microsoft Office tools to create and maintain assets.
  • Assist with digital and print marketing efforts for campaigns, events, and the MIOS brand.
  • Provide graphic design support for presentations, one sheets, white papers, templates, organizational charts, logos, and other communication materials as needed.
  • Design, draft, plan, and produce content including video, multimedia, and other print/electronic materials, both independently and with input from SMEs.
  • Develop mock ups, user flows, storyboards, and prototypes to effectively communicate web design.
  • Shoot and/or edit short audio or video segments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bachelor's degree may be waived with exceptional portfolio/selling points
  • Portfolio submission of recent work
  • A minimum of 3-4+ years of professional design experience in a marketing, agency, or communications setting
  • Background check required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamweaver, and After Effects).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically page layout and visualization tools available in PowerPoint and Word).
  • Knowledge and skill in at least four of the following:
  • Web and interactive design
  • UI/UX and design thinking
  • Digital file preparation and print production
  • Data visualization and information graphics
  • Brand application
  • Wire framing or storyboarding
  • Video or 3D modeling asset production
  • Motion/Video/Audio production
  • Ability to combine creative thinking with strong layout and production skills using digital technologies.
  • Federal marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS a plus.
  • Experience with writing marketing copy a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask/prioritize based on urgency.
  • Ability to be a team player and accept direction well.

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
