Graphic Designer Summary: We seek a talented and creative Graphic Designer who will work within the design department to elevate the organization's brand. Under the guidance of the Art Director, the Designer will directly collaborate with all relevant departments to promote the organization's strategic partnerships and initiatives. Collaboration may extend other stakeholders at all levels to ensure new and existing campaigns maintain brand consistency across all communication channels. This role demands effective design skills for a wide range of marketing materials, including digital campaigns (infographics, site assets, social shares, sales packages, PowerPoint presentations) and print (curriculum materials, fliers, one-pagers, posters, promotions, toolkits, change packages). The role requires high emotional intelligence and the ability to prioritize relationship building across a diverse and multi-faceted organization. The ideal candidate will be positive, self-motivated, detail-oriented and possess a passion for the field.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain brand standards.
  • Design digital and print materials for internal and external marketing projects, including but not limited to infographics, fact sheets and one-pagers, brochures and newsletters, presentation materials, data visualizations, site assets and email marketing campaigns.
  • Execute the entire process of all projects as assigned, from concept to final product. Work with outside vendors such as photographers, multimedia professionals and printers as needed.
  • Assist teams with exploration and ideation during all branding phases.
  • Conduct photo and art research, and maintain brand assets, including identity guidelines, templates, logos and stationery system.
  • Serve as an in-house PowerPoint resource to create new or edit existing high-end presentations.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects at one time and communicate expectations and deadlines.
  • Process and reconcile feedback from multiple stakeholders while communicating and educating team members on rational design choices.
  • Adapt to quickly changing workflows while managing many projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Graphic Designer Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), as well as Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint on Mac and PC platforms.
  • Strong digital skills a plus, including knowledge of or proficiency in Adobe XD, Spark, Sketch or web prototyping tools.
  • Familiarity with Asana project management and Marketo email marketing programs a plus.
  • Organized, focused and detail- and deadline-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulately deliver presentations and the story behind design choice.
  • Collaborative/teamwork attitude and skills a must.
