Starting Salary $58,011 - $68,244

Under general direction performs skilled work in the construction, repair and maintenance of City facilities and equipment.  This position is required to service and/or oversee the servicing of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and ventilating systems in all City facilities.  Inspect and report condition of all City facilities and equipment, ensuring code compliance, functionality and life safety.  Carries out supervisory and managerial responsibility in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws.  On call for building and facility maintenance emergencies in the City.  High School diploma or equivalent and five to seven years of progressively responsible related experience.  Must have valid Maryland Driver's License.  The City provides a generous fringe benefit package including medical, dental, life and retirement plans.  Two view the job class specification, summary of benefits and to apply log onto www.greenbeltmd.gov.  A City of Greenbelt application is required.
