SAIC is deploying a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals to provide technical management and support services that will assist in delivering effective, consistent and timely project management execution throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst to support project management activities across a broad spectrum of Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) projects. Duties to include: Responsible for creating, applying, and maintaining tools to track Information Technology (IT) program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, and performance data. Create routine and ad hoc reports, with the ability to produce alternate depictions of IT project performance data to identify and highlight issues Provide oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms Schedule and facilitate meetings with VA employees and capture meeting minutes Assist VA project managers with the development of high-quality responses to internal and external information requests Maintain program performance data and documents on several web-based reporting tools, including SharePoint and IBM Rational tools Assist VA project managers with the development of high-quality responses to internal and external information requests Maintain a knowledge management repository and historical record of responses to information requests on MS SharePoint Prepare and maintain Veteran-Focused Intake Process (VIP) documentation for VA Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) projects, to include creating and updating the VIP Dashboard for each project Track VIP compliance activities and perform recurring gap analyses to identify missing data and documentation Support VA project managers in the preparation for project milestone reviews and critical decision points Update project data in the SharePoint-based Enterprise Project Management Division (EPMD) Tools site, including risks and project information Translate technical information from disparate sources into executive-level communications Adhere to standard operating procedures for program activities and identify process improvements Work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Function as part of an integrated team sharing products, best practices, and information across the portfolio Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Qualifications A Bachelor s Degree in a business discipline, with at least 2 years of experience in related field is required. Note that 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor s Degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Experience working with the following software products: Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, ie Word/Excel/Power Point/Outlook/Access/MS Project, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Visio, IBM Rational Tool Suite, Skype, WebEx, WinZip Experience working in a consulting environment and understanding of client/customer relations Must be able to work under pressure, coordinate multiple assignments at once, and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service High attention to detail US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Target salary range: .
