Summary Develops management, product, sales, retail, commercial, deposit, lending, and other Financial Institution program reporting and provides analyses, insight, and recommendations to support achievement of the Financial Institution's strategic objectives. The role includes overall management and system administration of the Financial Institution's data warehouse, and ongoing work to enhance, expand, maintain, and leverage information retained in the warehouse. Essential Functions . Plays lead role in developing, managing, and enhancing the Financial Institution's data warehouse, working with core 3rd party (Jack Henry & Associates), internal partners, and other external vendors. . Leverages data warehouse and associate reporting tools to create management reporting for the Financial Institution's lines of business to monitor performance and trends. . Leverages business and reporting expertise to recommend and implement enhancements to reports. . Utilizes internal and external data to develop analyses and insights into business opportunities, challenges, and risks. . Supports product and project initiatives with data needs across the Financial Institution, including the development of new report queries for use across multiple applications. . Serves as key steward of data warehouse information as part of the Financial Institution's overall data governance program and related efforts. . Serves as in-house data warehouse expert, provides training and support to system users, and manages system access for Financial Institution's user community. Duties . Must be able to analyze and synthesize data, develop recommendations, and effectively communicate with Financial Institution senior management and other internal/external business partners . Devises modeling and measuring techniques; utilizes mathematics and statistical methods . Required to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers . Maintains strong knowledge of Financial Institution industry and business metrics important for building, providing, and maintaining reporting needs across all Financial Institution areas . Ability to work in team-oriented environment with strong aptitude for problem solvingJob Requirements:Education and Experience . Minimum Bachelor's degree required (preferably in technical areas such as computer science, information technology, data analytics, or other relevant field). . Strong knowledge of and experience in data warehouse structure and management. . 5+ years' experience in a similar analytical role; minimum of 3 years' experience in the financial services industry. . Advanced Excel experience required; advanced SQL query knowledge is required, Microsoft Report Builder experience is preferred, Access and Visual Basic Application (VBA) experience helpful. . Experience with Jack Henry applications including jhaKnow would be beneficial.
