ASEC IncDescription: ASEC is currently seeking for a Systems Engineer to support Tactical Combat Training Systems Increment II (TCTS II). This employee's assigned work requires originality and judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. This individual is recognized as fully competent in all conventional aspects of the functional areas of assignment and, as such, requires the demonstrated ability to create concepts and products. The employee receives direct supervision and guidance primarily on novel or controversial problems or questions and must make independent technical decisions on details of work covered by precedents.This individual must plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work as part of the TCTS II development, production and delivery to the Fleet. He/she devises new approaches to problems encountered and, as such, performs work which requires conventional engineering practices and which includes a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials or equipment, and difficult coordination requirements. The assigned work requires a broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and a good knowledge of principles and practices of related specialties..
