Description Job Description The Origin program is in need of a Systems Administrator that has experience in VMWare virtual hosting environments, MS Windows Server 2012-2016 administration, Windows PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, VDI and NetAPP storage solutions. Applicant should be able to design and develop complex solutions without assistance from peers. Daily duties include OM of virtual environments, patching, updating anti-virus and resolving security vulnerabilities. Should also be able to review peers' designs and ensure solution is sound. Must be able to work in a large team environment and collaborate when needed. (This position may be in Chantilly or Tysons area) Primary Responsibilities The candidate would be responsible for maintaining a farm of mission critical servers that ingest customer data and store that data for up to 10 years. Candidate would ensure that the servers are operable and healthy, performing upgrades and maintenance when needed. Candidate will work with customer analysts to ensure environment meets their needs and is performing efficiently. Application training will be provided to candidate so they can learn the ins and outs and provide appropriate support. OM of large virtual hosting environment consisting of approximately 300 servers across 10 systems. Must also provide tier 23 support of Windows environment from a systems administrator perspective Basic Qualifications Typically requires BS degree and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience or experience in lieu of degree Must have a current TSSCI with Poly to be considered 4 years of experience in Windows System Administration Must understand virtual server technologies Preferred Qualifications VMWare Vcenter expertise NetAPP storage expertise You will be required to pass both a customer required and administered medical and physiological screening, as a condition of employment.
