Responsibilities Do you have what it takes to make a difference in delivering National Asset capabilities to the Intelligence community in the Space Domain? If so, the Verification, Validation and Transition (VVT) team is your calling! The VVT team is responsible for technical support of the planning and execution of enterprise and system-level verification, validation and transition activities for national assets, associated ground segments and services, and mission processing systems within the enterprise. The team executes several enterprise tests and provides the recommended closure of enterprise and system requirements Independent Verification, Validation and Transition in support of delivered system capabilities and mission closure, overseeing readiness events in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level test milestones leading and supporting project planning assessing schedule and risk generating and presenting engineering briefings and interfacing with numerous customers. This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure. Participate in COMM, GEOINT and SIGINT integration initiatives for a development contract on behalf of the customer. Perform Agile System Integration to include transition to Ops in a DevOps construct and will support agile test strategies allowing for continuous integrationcontinuous delivery. Write test strategies and plans, execute tests, analyze data and author summarized results in a test report. Perform investigations into potential new capabilities being proposed by the developer and provide guidance on relevance and worth. Assess test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure delivery of ground systems meet system specifications and defined enterprise capabilities, and integrates ground segment and system elements together so they work as a whole. Perform acquisition system integration tasks, to include regression testing, and provide deliverables in support of integrating the products, processes, subsystems, and components of a system. Participate in the creation of assessment reports and VVT results. Assess processes and create efficiencies continuously, and may lead projects for systems team work, have frequent client interactions, and support system and mission strategy development across the various ground offices. Interact daily with the developer and customer and supporting contractors, and will need to follow integration processes as to transition capabilities through the lifecycle. Qualifications Qualifications Requires12 to 15 years with BSBA or 10 to 13 years with MSMA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D. Requires an active TSSCI. Poly is desired but will put through an upgrade. Experience with spaceground testing and systems engineering, systems integration, Verification, Validation and Transition (VVT) activities. Experience supporting agile automated focused test, DevOps verification strategies and integration of new systems and initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities. Experience writing test strategies and plans, executing tests, analyzing data and summarizing results. Strongly Desired Skills DevOps and systemsoftware integration background. Experience with commercial software integration techniques is also highly desirable. Experience with automated test tools and reading output from automated tests. Technical familiarity with COMM systems. Technical familiarity with one or more GEOINT systems. Technical familiarity with one or more SIGINT High and Low systems.
