This position requires a career level software engineer typically with a Bachelorrsquos Degree in computer science, scientific, or appropriate engineering discipline and two years or more of relevant experience. The candidate shall be capable of working under general supervision and possess the skills necessary to work from specifications to develop or modify moderately complex software applications. The candidate shall be competent to work independently in most phases of software systems, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases. The candidate shall be able to code, update, and test TCM scripts and integrate the TCM scripts into a system. Position Description The Software Engineer shall define, develop in JAVA and C++, verify, integrate, and test the TFDM requirements to include all aspects of performance, quality, life cycle costs, maintainability, reliability, schedule, data processing reserves, and future growth requirements. Under the direction of Leidos management, the successful candidate shall possess the following skillexperience level Air Traffic Management Control domain experience (preferred) Linux - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 78, Ansible playbook, certification preferred Virtualization - vSphere 6, Virtual Infrastructure, vCenter, Storage Replication Design, coding, testing, software and system integration Regression Testing Storage - NetApp Scripting ndash BashShell, Python Network CCNA Familiarity with FAA-STD-026A NAS Software Development Standard Amazon Web Services ndash Identity and access management, EC2 instances, CM Atlassian Other preferred software Splunk.
