Design, produce and test automation software. Develop protocols for the Center of Excellence to help define and document Robotic Process Automation development standards. Collaborate with Information Services and Process Improvement team end users to understand requirements, define the application design and lead the socialization of the design with stakeholders. Responsibilities bull Develop and update documentation including architecture diagrams and solution design documents identify sharedreusable componentsobjects and patterns to drive consistent Robotic Process Automation development design efforts bull Plan, develop, review and enforce enterprise Robotic Process Automation architectural standards for business units, in collaboration with Information Services bull Conduct code reviews with peers to ensure each increment adheres to original version as designed for the user or Process Definition Document to ensure highest quality standards bull Oversee Robotic Process Automation design, scoping, implementation and testing bull Ensure Robotic Process Automation applications meet business and technical requirements, are maintainable, scalable and meet performance standards bull Coordinate integration of solutions with existing applications identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensure compatibility bull Provide forward thinking technical expertise in current and emerging technologies, trends and practices bull Provide technical leadership in the architectural discipline and development of information technology solutions bull Identify, analyze, design, and maintain cost-effective information technology solutions that align with technical corporate strategies bull Analyze, define and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and output bull Resolve urgent inquiries for use-cases to address quick repair to keep automation production running bull Contribute to the development of governance, methodologies and procedures to improve and create rapid and reusable Robotic Process Automation solutions bull Collaborate on reviews too assess the integrity and quality of proposed technical solutions bull Contribute to a culture of collaboration by actively working across business lines, communicating knowledge and business processes to other business units bull Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders andor external contacts (vendors, etc.) bull Participate in the Automation Center of Excellence help define and drive application standards across all automation platforms bull Lead, guide and mentor less experienced staff bull Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications bull Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience bull Significant experience in Pega, Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere or similar Robotic Process Automation platform bull Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Design bull Significant experience in application analysis and design engineering functions bull Significant experience in the application of non-functional software qualities such as resiliency, maintainability, etc. bull Advanced knowledge of advanced behavior-driven testing techniques bull Extensive experience using software tools such as C .NET, ASP.NET, Appian and Visual Studio andor web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java script, jQuery, Angular JS, NodeJS, etc. bull Experience on MVC, MS SQL Server, MySQL, andor other similar frameworks bull Experience in deploying solutionsapplications on varied environment like on premise and cloud (Azure, Amazon) bull Expert knowledge of Generic Handler SOAP, or Rest web APIs bull Significant experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors bull Advanced analytical and conceptual skills to create original conceptstheories for various projects bull Advanced skill communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical staff bull Advanced skill troubleshooting and resolving technical problems bull Advanced skill applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues bull Advanced skill creating system diagrams for review by both technical and non-technical audiences bull Advanced skill identifying patterns of software quality and reusability bull Effective skill in results-oriented leadership in a challenging environment bull Advanced skill building effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy and tact bull Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills bull Advanced analyticalquantitative, reconciliation and deductive reasoning skills bull Advanced verbal and written communication skills bull Advanced database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills bull Desired - Friday, 800am - 430pm Location 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180 Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, this position will be temporarily working from home with plans to return to campus at the desired location listed once Navy Federal is back to normal operations.
