Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for an Information Security Analyst. The Information security Analyst will will support the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) located in Rockville, MD. The scope of this effort is to provide a select range of IT services for specific activities within the NRC. The IT services encompass all activities necessary to provide secure enterprise-wide systems sustainment, management, enhancement, development and integration services for the lifecycle administration and deployment functions. Job Description The Information Security Analyst will monitor all computer networks for security issues and investigate any security breaches and other cybersecurity related incidents. The primary responsibilities for this ISA position are providing IT security-oriented guidance, advice and support to maintain ATO. Additionally, the ISA will have a comprehensive understanding of information security management, research security enhancements make recommendations to management, and stay up-to-date on information technology trends security standards. Required Skills and Experience Experience supporting Government security programs. Experience in Certification and Accreditation (CA) activities. Understanding of FISMA requirements and reporting. Experience in using Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) in IT support delivery. Experience with security testing. Experience with vulnerability management. Experience providing IT security-oriented analysis. A Security+ certification and experience working in the NRC environment is desired. Required Education and Certifications Bachelor's Degree 4 years' relevant experience NRC clearance at the "IT-1 level MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD CLEARANCE this will be verified prior to interview.
