Operating Engineer (On-Call)

Job DescriptionLB&B Associates Inc., a diversified services company, is currently seeking On-Call Operating Engineers for our long-term facility management contract at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in Washington, DC The position is seeking Operating Engineers who will be available to fill-in on days Monday thru Sunday. Qualifications & Experience:Candidates must have a Class 8A or above license, with the intention to achieve a DC 3rd class license within 2 (two) years and EPA Universal Certification.Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience and ability to maintain HP Steam Systems, boilers, chillers as well as all support equipment.Must be competent to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air handlers, VAV components, and various HVAC equipment and building systems.Education: High School Diploma / GED equivalent required.The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
