The selected candidate will work remotely from a home office and can be located anywhere in the United States. American Red Cross seeks a strong full stack developer to join a small, distributed, self-directed Team whose work supports the Red Cross mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies . Our team supports the flagship properties Redcross.org and Redcrossblood.org, which are powered by Adobe Experience Cloud and a range of custom microservices hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS.) This is a virtual position that will work remotely with occasional on-site meetings and US travel once travel has resumed. A day in the life of af ull stack developer Your team is virtual and distributed, so you'll spend lots of time working asynchronously on Slack/Teams to: Estimating and planning feature releases in JIRA with your Scrum Team Creating feature branches, rebasing other devs changes, and submitting / reviewing PRs in Bitbucket Writing HTML/CSS/JS/Typescript for Angular using your favorite IDE Interacting with our Adobe Experience Manager CMS, including coding custom components as needed Coding changes to our backend Java APIs using your favorite IDE Deploy your changes to the partial/full stack you're running locally for testing and troubleshooting Writing lots of automated tests with Angular, JUnit, and Cypress Running builds and deploys to shared test environments using Jenkins Working with our QA team to validate test plans and fix any bugs found during testing Helping triage and fix bugs found in production Required Skills At least 1 major distributed/cloud web-based development project using a recent Java and web front end platform, including production support 5-7 years total experience developing web applications for content management, digital commerce or high-volume transactional platform 4 year degree in computer science or related field (4 additional years of professional experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.) Strong NPM front end tool chain skills Strong Git and Gitflow skills Comfortable using OS command line Preferred Skills Experience with more than one modern software development language/platform Experience with Jenkins or other CI automation tools Experience with Docker Experience with core AWS services (EC2, VPC, ECS, CloudFormation) Experience with MySql or other relational databases Experience working within the Adobe Experience Manager framework, including end-user and authoring concepts like templates, components, page properties, blueprints, and AEM Sites *LI-EH1 IND123 Apply now!
