Milani Construction, LLC, a DC based General Contractor, specialized in Heavy and Highway Construction, is seeking a full time PROJECT MANAGER to join our team. Milani Construction clients include the Federal Government, Maryland State Highway, DDOT, VDOT, State and Local Governments. The successful candidate will have a minimum of fifteen years experience ideally in the Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Construction industry. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of an entire project or projects, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The primary focus is on the development of both short and long term goals in order to increase profits.Responsibilities include:Prepare written correspondence with owner/clients.Creating and developing material take-offsPreparing and tracking submittal documentsmaterial purchasingControlling budgetProduction and deadlines for multiple projects/clientsQuality controlChange Order ProcessingQA/QC CoordinationResponding to & Posting RFI''sCPM SchedulingThe candidate must also have the ability to work collaboratively with Foreman, Superintendent, Office personnel and Subcontractors. This includes having a full understanding of job scope drawings and specifications.This individual will be responsible for developing, approving, and administering purchase orders.
