Duration : Contract, 2 Years (24 months) - Possible permanent conversion at any point during or at the end of the contract period should a full-time, direct role with this client become available Pay Rate & Benefits : Hourly based on experience, education, etc. - Benefits offered are: o Health, Dental & Vision and Life Insurance; 401K; HSA; Short-Term/Long-Term Disability o No Paid Time Off (PTO), which includes Holidays o Minimum 40 hours per week, with limited mandatory OT Call Center Locations : While this position will begin remotely, candidates will be asked to work at one of three Baltimore City locations once onsite again sometime in late 2021 once COVID restrictions are lifted Parking (Once onsite) : Parking is at the candidate's expense. There are shuttle services available from other company locations. All locations are walking distance from public transportation stops. End Client : Large utility provider Tentative Start Date for Orientation / Paid Training : March 8, 2021 (Must be prepared to pick up equipment and complete an orientation session the week of March 1) Schedule / Call Center Hours : o Virtual Classroom Training (6 weeks) - Monday through Friday, 7:30a-4:30p o Virtual On-the-Job Training (4 weeks) - Monday through Friday, with a shift between 7a-7:30p with rotating weekend shifts and/or on-call Storm Duty if necessary o Regular Schedule (beginning virtually) - Monday through Friday, with a shift between 7a-7:30p and rotating weekend shifts and/or on-call Storm Duty if necessary Time Off / Paid Training: Candidates will not receive time off for the first 10 weeks while training. Job Requirements:Responsibilities : . Will be trained to take calls in 911/Emergency, Collections, Billing and Start/Stop/Move orders in a high volume, inbound call center type of environment . Look to complete calls in a timely fashion, ensuring "one call resolution" for customers if possible . Work within web applications, systems, databases, and MS Office to navigate customer information Required Skills / Experience: . Remote Requirements - Candidates should be able to work from home, with adequate workspace and technology capabilities (Desk to accommodate 2 monitors, Homeowner's or Renter's Insurance, High Speed Internet, Smart Phone with 5GB of space, and a reliable laptop or PC) . Flexibility and punctuality with schedule. Must be available for any shift between 7am-7:30pm, Monday-Friday, with the understanding that you will be on call for emergencies also . Minimum 9 months of recent professional Call Center customer service experience, working in a dedicated high-volume call center environment (ie, clients like PayPal, Verizon, Comcast, IKEA, etc.) as Receptionist, Clinical, or Office positions with a multi-line phone system will NOT suffice . Hiring Manager is NOT looking for job hopping or only temp/contract work in employment experience prior to COVID-19 pandemic, as she is targeting longevity in past career roles Required Minimum Assessment Scores: . Typing - Targeting 45 WPM . Call Center Phone Etiquette - 80% . Computer Literacy - 80% . Microsoft Outlook - 80% nTech is an equal opportunity employer.
