Description Job Description: The Defense Group at Leidos is seeking a Configuration Manager to support a Leidos Prime Program in the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of critical systems in Ft. Belvoir, VA. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures Configure and maintain the tool suite and assist in the use of configuration management tools (eg DOORS, Git, Clearcase, Jazz, Bitbucket, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items driving problems to closure Work to understand and use program and customer CM tools Streamline test and CM workflows, collaborating and assisting service delivery managers Understand basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures (U) Understand basic concepts, assist in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration Assist in defining and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures; such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the hardware and software build process Utilize configuration management tools (eg DOORS, ClearCase, Jazz, Git, Bitbucket, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items, define and manage Configuration Items (CI)s and artifacts Maintain the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration (U) Develop hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed on hardware and software development projects Apply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build process Serve as an advisor to (or non-voting member of) Government Change Control Board (CCB) Ensure hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures are followed on hardware and software development projects. Manage, maintain and develop the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration work independently and defines and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build process Install, configure and maintain Linux and Windows Servers; implement software applications and code Implement CM process to collect and manage configuration changes as well as manage baseline configuration items Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution while maintaining CM principles. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Requires BS and 4 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 6 years of prior relevant experience.
