Ref ID: 04510- 013 Classification: Treasury Accountant Compensation: $75000.00 to $80000.00 yearly My client, a growing restaurant group based in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Treasury Specialist to add to their growing team. The Treasury Specialist will be responsible for the accounting related to the organization's cash activity and will work as part of a 10 person accounting group in a brand new corporate office space. The Treasury Specialist will report to the Controller and will be responsible for the following: Create journal entries for bank account transactions Administration of disbursement files from multiple business units Assign GL codes and ensure journal entries are uploaded to financial systems Reconciliation of cash and clearing GL accounts Perform bank reconciliations against GL and any clearing accounts Assist with any audit queries Work directly with banks to resolve and queries or discrepancies Job Requirements: Candidates for this role should meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1+ years experience in accounting role Experience with high volume cash transactions absolutely required Experience with restaurant/food service or hospitality industries strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter, ability to work in fast paced work environment For more information on this role or any of the others that we are currently working on, send an updated resume to Matt Shoe ( @roberthalf.com) in confidence.
