Job Description Summary The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst contract role is located remotely during the mandatory telework period and in the Ashburn, Virginia, office reporting to the Assistant Director, Customer Success. Along with the Lead Analyst, Organizational Change Management, this role makes up the organizational change management team. Working with the Lead Analyst, the OCM Analyst is responsible for increasing employee adoption and usage of process changes and technology solutions within the CLIENT. The OCM Analyst role focuses on the people side of change initiatives and performs organizational change management activities on behalf of the Office of Data, Systems, and Technology (ODST). Responsibilities Applies a structured organizational change management methodology or framework to support the adoption of any changes required by a project or initiative performed by ODST. Performs delivery of organizational change management services, primarily change discovery, stakeholder and leadership alignment, end user engagement, change readiness and adoption measurement, as well as behavior and culture enablement. Coordinates and executes change management activities with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Drives adoption and usage of changes within the organization, ensuring ODST meets project objectives on time and on budget and fulfills client needs. Partners with change initiators (business stakeholders and ODST project teams) to understand critical requirements and change impacts. Identifies and assesses key stakeholders based on their influence and impact over the changersquos success. Conducts impact analyses and assesses change readiness tailors change management activities based on the results of these assessments to ensure maximum employee adoption and usage. Works with the ODST Communications team to support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications for change initiatives. Works with training analysts to provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training materials and programs for change initiatives. Provides direct support to senior leaders, executives, and front-line managers as they help their direct reports through change projects or initiatives. Utilizes metrics to monitor adoption and effectiveness, identify resistance and performance gaps, and develop appropriate action plans. Works with external consultants on any large change initiatives, such as organizational transformations. Qualifications EducationTechnical Expertise Bachelorrsquos degree or equivalent experience required in business administration, communications, information technology, or related field. Prosci or similar professional change management certification preferred. Minimum of 4+ years of experience performing organizational change management activities on IT projects using change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in the information technology field. Proven understanding of how people go through change and the change process. Experience in executive communications and organizational support, including experience liaising with customers and other project stakeholders. Experience supporting senior leaders and executives through change. Demonstrated ability in translating complex technical subject matter into easy-to-understand communications, particularly for non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple ongoing projects without impact to deadline. Experience developing change management plans, executing plans, and measuring success of plans. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including highly technical development teams. Familiarity with traditional and agile project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle. Willingness to travel to the CLIENTrsquos Washington, DC, office or other regional offices occasionally, as required after the mandatory telework period. A self-starter able to administer a number of open, ongoing assignments at any one time, where some assignments are routinely unstructured, requiring autonomy and independent judgment. bull In-depth experience successfully harmonizing diverse and competing interests.
