POSITION TITLE: Researcher for Data-Centric Architecture ProcessorCLEARANCE: Must be able to be cleared to Top Secret SCI level. (Note: this requires US Citizenship for applicant and spouse)LOCATION: Bethesda, MarylandJOB DESCRIPTION:Excellent opportunity in a SETA role on an Intelligence Research Program!A Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong data analytics and computer architecture is needed to cultivate the design and development of a unique computer architecture in RTL. This unique architecture is to address very large-scale data analytic problems. The overall goal of the program is to create novel computer architectures and designs that advance the performance of data analytic computations.Daily tasking may include:Support the execution of the lifecycle of the Program (Development, Source Selection, Execution, Closeout, and Transition);Serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) PM;Attend technical meetings, workshops, conferences and testing events as a Subject Matter Expert;Support Program Management meetings including assisting with the development of presentations such as Program Management Reviews; Reviewing and summarizing proposals and results reporting;Serve as a technical liaison between Performers, Test & Evaluation contributors, Government and Transition partners;Review, provide analysis, and make recommendations concerning technical reports, data and Performer approaches;Supporting the establishment of Memorandums of Agreement and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with technology transition partners;Establishing and monitoring program procedures for data collection and annotation;Researching and managing program evaluations and plans;Providing technical coordination with contracting team in support of negotiations and Statements of Works (SOW)s for performers;Supporting technology transfer efforts;Examine data sources and literary sources for emerging technology related to the Program; andProvide technical support and expertise on new concepts beyond the Program within areas of expertise and support Seedlings, Studies, and/or Challenges.Minimal Requirements:Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering4+ years' familiarity with various current research approaches to advance computer design at the system and component level2+ years' experience with the development of integrated circuits including the state-of-the-art design, and modeling and simulation tools2+ years' experience with modeling and simulation of computers for applications2+ years' experience with designing computers for large-scale data intensive applicationsExcellent technical writing skills (you will be asked to provide an example)Superb verbal and non-verbal communications skillsDesired Requirements (in order of preference starting with most desired):Doctoral degree in degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering2+ years' experience in the Intelligence Community2+ years' experience as a technical SETA2+ years' research experience with large-scale data analytics applications, including artificial intelligence (Al) and machine learning techniques (ML)2+ years' experience with computing engineering in a cloud computing environment2+ years' experience with computing experience in a high-performance computing environmentOur company does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, sex including sexual orientation, gender identity or status as transgender, national origin, age, disability, military service, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
