Description The role of Senior Director Capture Manager at SAIC is one of responsibility, leadership and energy. Capture Managers are the senior leaders of business development, consistently working across operations, service line and proposal centers to ensure a continuous stream of new business for the company. Capture Managers have the resources of the company at their disposal to protect, expand and grow business for SAIC. Capture Managers are viewed as thought leaders, ready to assist in developing strategies for growth and identifying new market opportunities. Capture Managers represent the company to vendors and teaming partners, making strategic assessments on capabilities and establishing risk/reward matrices for every unique opportunity capture. The success or failure of every proposal effort is within the direct control of the Capture Manager. The Capture Manager is the single point of contact to the government client on the proposal, and works for the Account Manager as a dedicated client representative . The Capture Manager is resourced to succeed all of the resources of the company are at the ready to support the Capture Manager. The Senior Director Capture Manager will be responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery all aspects of a bid to a client to include: Teaming partner selection Service Line resourcing and assignment Win strategy development Price-to-win identification Proposal process from incept to delivery Qualifications -20+ years of experience with government or complex system strategy and/or business development -Experience with large program (in excess of $300M total contract value) capture management within the past 5 years - Knowledge and prior experience in the development and application of next generation IT systems, processes and service solution suites, including emerging trends for the Department of Defense - Successful ability to build and manage large and diverse project teams as related to solution and proposal response elements - Ability to champion projects and positions with senior management and supporting organizations - Planning, budgeting and forecasting across a number of diverse projects - Effective usage of MS Office products, including planning and budgeting applications such as MS Project or equivalent - Successful implementation of Price to Win techniques within over-arching solution suites - Usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions in support of opportunity status reporting, resource requests or workflow approval processes - Generation of Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements for opportunity engagement and partnerships with external providers - Understanding of IT market trends and ability to apply information obtained through multiple sources. -Competitive Experience Full and open IDIQ Prime / sub Small business set aside -Contract experience FFP, FPIF, T+M, CPFF/AF/IF Skills Required: Proposal team management Complex team management Color team review experience Capture methodology training (examples) Miller Heiman, Shipley, SM+A or other Sales process and sales Skills Good supportive belief system (Sales DNA) Uses an effective sales process Good qualification skills Good relationship building skills Good closing skills Highly motivated Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Overview SAIC is a premier technology integrator solving our nation's modernization and readiness challenges.
